Navivoile

We are all united by the same passion…

Passion for the sea, sailing, and people. We've been a small family business since 1992. NAVIVOILE is, above all, a story of family and passion. The crew is made up of 3 to 4 sailors, depending on the cruise, all graduates of the Merchant Navy.

The routes.

Bernard (the father) and Andrée (the mother) have been sailors for a long time. After successfully creating their business on land, the couple decided to change direction and live off their shared passion, the Sea and boats. Not to mention the first boats they rented in the 80s and then the first crush on an old rusty wreck lying on a quay in Port Leucate (11). In 1990, they acquired the first NAVIVOILE catamaran, equipped as a NUC (Collective Utility Vessel). They obtained the necessary diplomas (BPPV), and both became Merchant Seamen. They then offer tailor-made cruises in the Mediterranean, sailing trips, coastal fishing and deep-sea fishing from their base port in Port La Nouvelle (11).

Cyril, (the son), immediately took on the role of Sailor in 1989. He enlisted as a non-commissioned officer in the French Navy and spent 15 years in the armed forces. Afterward, he chose to leave the ranks to join the family business. In 2004, he became a "Merchant Sailor" and then obtained the "Captain 200" diploma in 2006.

In 2007, Bernard, Andrée and Cyril decided to build a new "day charter" sailing ship that would offer half-day or full-day cruises from Canet en Roussillon and Port Vendres (66). This is how the NAVIVOILE catamaran that you know today came out of the MARTINEZ shipyard (Port Saint Cyprien) in July 2008.

In 2018, Cyril became the owner and shipowner of the NAVIVOILE. Gaëlle (Cyril's wife) obtained her Deckhand Certificate and gradually and naturally joined the family business.

These different professional paths all lead to the same passion: that of the Sea and of People.

The outcome.

Today, this crew invites you to discover the joys of sailing and their good humor aboard the "Jaune" catamaran NAVIVOILE.
